Nicole Johnson is a licensed marriage and family therapist who started with Safe Harbor Treatment Center in October 2019. Nicole has had excellent training, and immense experience working in the field of addiction and psychology. Nicole is certified and licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, received her BA degree from the University of Arizona in communications and earned her MA degree from Pepperdine in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family in 2005. Nicole embraces her role at Safe Harbor and enjoys helping clients grow throughout their journey. Nicole provides treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, women’s issues, substance use disorders, trauma, domestic violence, grief, and trauma. Nicole primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques with an integrated mindfulness component and a humanistic, client- centered style. Nicole believes in psychotherapy personalized to meet the needs of each unique individual. The focus of treatment is the clinical relationship between us and our ability to foster positive change for you.
