Safe Harbor Continuing Care
Safe Harbor has designed a Continuing Care program for those clients and families who wish to continue with a structured, supportive environment following completion of our 90 day program. Our continuing care program bridges the gap between treatment and becoming completely self-sufficient diminishing the stress felt when transitioning from treatment. Safe Harbor provides continued mentoring and coaching on a step down, monthly basis which can be extended throughout the clients stay in our Recovery Homes.

In recovery behaviors, habits, attitudes, values, thoughts and feelings can change, and by continuing treatment, each woman is ensured further support and guidance from our certified staff. Recovery is a continuous journey filled with self-discovery and appreciation, and we believe that each woman should take the time that she needs in order to be comfortably and gradually brought back to understanding.

Instead of being totally removed from societal pressures and influences, clients in the continuing care program begin to be exposed to everyday stress, but learn to deal with life through numerous sessions at the facility. Drug Testing is used to ensure that clients are not continuing to use while enrolled in the continuing care program. Our successful aftercare program assists the women in recovery with everyday life situations while in early recovery, and to continue to work in relapse prevention to maintain their awareness of potential relapse trigger issues.

The Continuing Care program can be subscribed to on a monthly basis and can be extended throughout the clients stay in our Recovery Homes.
